What CareSync is
What is CareSync?
CareSync is a white-label digital health platform for healthcare providers and pharmaceutical patient support programs. It supplies a branded patient application, a clinician workspace and an administration portal that share one set of workflows covering access, booking, virtual care, home healthcare, engagement and reporting.
The platform is configured around an organization's own brand, services, locations and operating model rather than shipped as a fixed product. Each deployment activates only the modules that organization needs, and additional modules can be switched on later without rebuilding the earlier ones.
What does white-label mean for CareSync?
White-label means the patient and clinician applications carry your organization's name, logo, colors, typography and service naming, not CareSync branding. The apps can be published under your own App Store and Google Play developer accounts, so patients experience them as your own products.
Who uses CareSync?
Three groups use CareSync daily: patients and their families through the branded app, clinicians and care coordinators through the provider workspace, and operations, marketing and compliance teams through the administration portal. Each group sees only the functions relevant to its role.
Hospital groups running multi-branch access, virtual care and patient engagement.
Clinic and polyclinic networks standardising booking, payments and follow-up.
Pharmaceutical patient support programs coordinating enrolment, adherence and outcome reporting.
Home healthcare providers scheduling visits and capturing field documentation.
How is CareSync different from a standard hospital information system?
A hospital information system is the clinical and administrative system of record. CareSync sits in front of it as the digital experience layer: patient-facing access, communication and engagement, plus the operational views around them. It connects to the system of record instead of replacing it.
What the platform does
What modules does CareSync include?
CareSync covers patient access and booking, telemedicine, home healthcare coordination, patient engagement and communication, patient support program management for pharmaceutical sponsors, and analytics and reporting. Organizations activate the modules they need and add others in later phases.
Does CareSync support telemedicine?
Yes. CareSync includes scheduled and on-demand virtual consultations with in-app video, pre-consultation intake, clinical notes, and post-consultation follow-up such as prescriptions, instructions and next appointments. Virtual and in-person visits sit in the same patient record and the same clinician schedule.
Does CareSync work in Arabic?
Yes. CareSync is built for Arabic and English side by side, with full right-to-left layout, Arabic typography, Hijri and Gregorian date handling, and Arabic content for notifications and patient communication. Patients choose their language and the interface adapts completely.
What reporting does CareSync provide?
The administration portal reports on utilisation, booking and attendance, virtual care volumes, patient engagement and campaign performance, and program-level outcomes for patient support programs. Views can be filtered by branch, service and time period and exported for internal reporting.
Integration and technology
How does CareSync integrate with an existing EHR or HIS?
Integration is API-based. CareSync connects to EHR, EMR, hospital information, insurance, CRM, ERP and identity systems that expose supported interfaces. The exact integration scope, data flows and sequencing are confirmed during a discovery step before configuration begins.
Where a system exposes no modern interface, CareSync can operate alongside it with scheduled data exchange while the deeper integration is planned. Organizations commonly start with appointment availability and patient identity, then extend to clinical and billing data.
Which platforms are supported?
Patients use native iOS and Android applications and a responsive web experience. Clinicians and administrators work in a browser-based workspace that runs on desktop and tablet. No specialised hardware is required.
Do we need to replace our existing systems?
No. CareSync is designed to sit across the systems already in place and connect them, so a rollout does not depend on replacing a core clinical or financial system. Organizations typically keep their system of record and use CareSync for the patient-facing and coordination layers.
Data, security and compliance
Where is patient data stored?
Data residency is configurable, including in-Kingdom hosting in Saudi Arabia and dedicated cloud environments for a single organization. The hosting model, region and tenancy are agreed with your technology and compliance teams before deployment rather than fixed by the platform.
How does CareSync handle security and privacy?
CareSync uses a compliance-supporting architecture: encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access control, audit logging of access to patient data, environment separation, and configurable retention. Organizations map these controls to their own regulatory obligations during the security review.
Does CareSync support Saudi healthcare regulatory requirements?
CareSync is built for Saudi and GCC deployment, with configurable data residency, Arabic-first patient communication, consent capture and audit trails that support obligations under national data protection and health sector rules. Final regulatory responsibility stays with the operating healthcare entity.
How is patient consent managed?
Consent is captured in the patient application at the point it is needed, versioned against the policy text shown at the time, and recorded with a timestamp. Patients can review what they agreed to and withdraw communication consent from their own profile.
Implementation and commercials
How long does a CareSync implementation take?
Typical deployments run in weeks rather than multi-year build cycles. The timeline depends on the modules activated, the number of branches and services in scope, and the integrations required. A discovery step sets a firm schedule before configuration begins.
A common shape is a phased rollout: a first phase covering booking, the patient app and core communication, then virtual care and engagement, then deeper integration and analytics. Each phase goes live independently so value does not wait for the full scope.
How much does CareSync cost?
CareSync is licensed on a subscription scoped to the modules activated, the number of branches or clinics, and expected user volumes, with a one-time configuration and integration component. Pricing is quoted per organization after discovery rather than published as a fixed list price.
What support and training are included?
Deployments include role-based training for clinicians, coordinators and administrators, launch support for the patient rollout, documentation in Arabic and English, and an ongoing support channel with agreed response commitments. Configuration changes after launch are made in the administration portal by your own team.
How do we start with CareSync?
Start with a walkthrough against your own services and branches. From there a discovery session confirms scope, integrations and timeline, and produces a phased plan and commercial proposal. Contact moh.essam@care-sync.co to arrange the first session.
Terms used on this page
White-label platform
Software delivered under the customer's own brand, so patients and staff see the healthcare organization's identity rather than the software vendor's.
Patient support program (PSP)
A pharmaceutical sponsored program that supports patients on a specific therapy with enrolment, education, adherence follow-up and outcome reporting.
Digital front door
The patient-facing entry point to a healthcare organization: finding a service, booking, paying, joining a virtual visit and following up, all in one place.
Data residency
The country or region in which patient data is physically stored and processed, which regulated healthcare organizations must be able to specify and evidence.
HIS / EHR integration
A connection between the digital experience layer and the clinical system of record, so appointments, patient identity and clinical data stay consistent across both.
